What makes Fresh Suds soap different from drugstore soap?
Every Fresh Suds bar is cold-processed by hand, built on 42%+ olive oil with aloe in every bar, cured 30 days, and palm-free. Most drugstore bars are machine-made, cured briefly, and often contain palm oil. Ours are made in Chilliwack, British Columbia by two friends of thirty years.
Is Fresh Suds soap palm-free?
Yes. Every bar is palm-free. We use olive oil, coconut oil and plant butters instead.
Is Fresh Suds soap vegan?
Yes. Every bar is vegan. No milk, honey, beeswax or other animal ingredients.
Is Fresh Suds soap good for sensitive skin?
Every bar is 42%+ olive oil with aloe, cold-process, cured 30 days, with no palm oil and no parabens. Scented bars use a light touch of fragrance; Olea Unscented has none at all. Start with the Sensitive Skin collection, and if a bar does not suit you, our 90-day promise covers it.
Is Fresh Suds soap shea-free?
Most of it, yes. The three salt bars (French Sea Salt, Bamboo and Arctic Breeze) contain shea butter. Every other bar is shea-free. The full ingredient list is on every bar page, and there is a straight answer on shea here.
How long does a bar last?
About a month with daily use. It depends on how many people share it and whether it dries between uses. A soap envelope or a dish that drains helps it last.

How much is shipping, and where do you ship?
Canada only, for now. $5 flat, free on orders over $50. Orders ship in 1 to 2 business days and standard delivery takes 3 to 5 business days depending on where you are. You see your delivery date at checkout before you pay.

How is the soap made?
Oils are weighed to the gram. Herbs are steeped in the olive oil before soap-making. The mixture is cold-processed, poured, cut by hand and cured for 30 days before it ships. No machines, no mass production.
