Fresh Suds Soapery Freezes Prices and Absorbs Shipping Costs Through September 2026
Chilliwack-based soapmaker commits to keeping handcrafted skincare accessible as costs rise across Canada.
Chilliwack, BC — April 2026 — As Canadian families face rising costs on everything from groceries to gas, Fresh Suds Soapery is making a commitment: no price increases and no shipping surcharges through September 1, 2026.
The small-batch, handcrafted soap company — run by two women in Vancouver and Chilliwack — is absorbing increased fuel and carrier costs rather than passing them on to customers. Flat-rate shipping remains at $10 across Canada, with free shipping on orders over $60.
"We know what it feels like to watch prices go up on things you actually need," said Natalie Brooks, co-founder of Fresh Suds Soapery. "When you finally find something that works for your skin, you shouldn't have to give it up because shipping went up again."
Every Fresh Suds product is handmade in Chilliwack, BC using the company's Precision Soap Formula™ — built on over 40% olive oil, mango butter, and zero palm oil.
Why It Matters Now
With tariffs and supply chain pressures rising, many small businesses are being forced to raise prices. Fresh Suds is choosing to hold the line — because the women who rely on these bars shouldn't have to choose between their skin and their budget.
"When you buy from a small Canadian maker, your money stays in your community — not in a warehouse across the country," said Brooks. "It goes to two women who make every bar by hand. That's what buying local and buying Canadian means. And right now, it matters more than ever."
The price freeze covers all soap bars, bundles, and seasonal products through September 1, 2026 — including the just-released Spring Bouquet Bundle ($28), the brand's first-ever floral seasonal drop featuring Cherry Blossom and Alpine Wildflowers bars.
Coming This May: A New Way to Save
Fresh Suds is also preparing to launch The Suds Circle — a membership program designed to give loyal customers even more value. Founding members will receive priority access to seasonal drops, locked-in pricing year-round, and members-only bars. Details will be announced in May, with just 30 founding seats available.
"We built this membership because our customers kept coming back," said Brooks. "If you're going to use our soap every day, we want to make that easier — not harder."
